LINCOLN, Neb. -- Nebraska has hired Arizona cornerbacks coach Donte Williams as a defensive assistant.Cornhuskers coach Mike Riley announced Monday that Williams would fill the coaching vacancy created Nov. 27 when special teams coordinator Bruce Read was fired.The Nebraska athletic department said in a statement that Williams is expected to coach cornerbacks and have involvement in pass defense coordination.
