A driver with a win must finish in the top 30 in points to earn a spot.Assuming Buescher can remain in the top 30, that leaves three spots available to winless drivers who are the best in points. If Buescher falls out of the top 30, Newman would be next in line with a 37-point lead on Kasey Kahne for the final spot.
