After the Wallabies comprehensive win over Wales, their outlooks contrast greatly. Australia are in search of a Grand Slam. Rob Howleys side will want to restore some pride in the Welsh jersey. But Bernard Foley has dismissed any notion of Australia looking too far ahead after opening their European tour by demolishing Wales, while Welsh hooker Ken Owens knows they can bounce back after Saturdays setback.?The Wallabies hopes of achieving a clean sweep in Britain and Ireland - a so-called Grand Slam tour that they last successfully completed 32 years ago - gained an immediate lift as Wales were overrun 32-8 in Cardiff.Scotland are next up in six days time, before the degree of difficulty increases sharply, with New Zealand All Blacks conquerors Ireland and world number two team England then awaiting Australia.Thats where you fall over if you start looking ahead, said Foley, who orchestrated Wales demise through a fly-half masterclass. It (Grand Slam tour) has been well-documented, but as a side we are just focusing on trying to be better for next week.Meanwhile Ken Owens believes recent history shows that Wales can bounce back quickly from the depths of a debilitating defeat. Australias 12th successive victory in the fixture on Saturday - a 32-8 stroll that at times resembled an opposed training session - means Wales are already behind the eight-ball with regard to this seasons autumn schedule.Argentina are next up in six days time, followed by Japan and South Africa, which suggests that life is not about to become easier for Owens and company any time soon. Its do-able, Wales hooker Owens said, when asked if Wales can make a rapid response. We were frustrated with how the England game went before we went to New Zealand (in June), and we played very well in the first and second Tests. We have got to do that this week, and do it quickly.?Argentina are on a bit of a roll, said Owens. They have beaten Japan and had a good Rugby Championship again, and they are going to be coming here for a win, so we are going to have to turn up, get momentum into our game and deliver. They have got a good set-piece, a big scrummaging game, but they have evolved their game as well. They off-load a hell of a lot, they have got a lot of trick plays and things like that. They try to play at a high tempo with a lot of off-loads. Danny Fortson Jersey . CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- NASCAR will resurrect its series in Mexico behind new title sponsor Peak, an automotive products company seeking to boost its profile. The rebranded NASCAR Peak Mexico Series will mark its return with an exhibition race in Mexico City in December. The series plans to run a full championship schedule next year. The announcement Tuesday night in Mexico City was attended by Daniel Suarez, who used the series as a starting point that led to his current ride with Joe Gibbs Racing.Suarez is tied for the lead in the Xfinity Series championship. He spent four years racing in NASCAR Mexico and won 10 races before graduating to the national series level. Hes the first Mexican driver to win a national series race and lead a national series in points. While Suarez was winning races in the United States, the series he had competed in was dormant. NASCAR had operated a Mexico-based stock car series from 2004 to 2015 in coordination with the Mexican promoter OCESA. NASCAR will operate the series in 2017 with former driver Jimmy Morales as the promoter.NASCAR Executive Vice President Steve ODonnell said Tuesday night he believes the series is in a good position to be stable with the sponsorship and promoter partnerships. The future of NASCAR in the United States is going to be reliant on the Hispanic fan base, growing the sport outside of the United States as well, ODonnell said. The success we saw in Mexico with the drivers, particularly Daniel Suarez, we felt like we were just on the cusp of really growing things in Mexico. ... It wasnt a question of if [we will return] for us.We knew how important this market is to the future of NASCAR. It took us a little longer to put everything together, but to have a successful partnership, sometimes that does take time.Morales, president and CEO of motorsports reprresentation company Escuderia Telmex-Telcel, has managed Suarez in his move from Mexico to NASCAR racing in the United States.ddddddddddddJimmy knows what it takes to be successful for a driver through what weve seen with Daniel, ODonnell said. Thats the model he wants to set up is what was the learning curve we had with Daniel, what did Daniel help us learn as well where we could make some improvements and put that together with this partnership.ODonnell said he envisions the series will have 10 races next year. While it has raced at Phoenix International Raceway in the past, ODonnell said he doesnt anticipate a return there in 2017.Well concentrate on Mexico [next year], but the goal really for the series is to be home base for Latin America, and the drivers who aspire to get into the [NASCAR] national series level would come here and compete, ODonnell said.NASCAR Mexico also has helped the development of Ruben Garcia Jr., who has three career Xfinity Series starts, and German Quiroga, who has 53 starts in the Camping World Truck Series.Lou Garate, vice president of partnership marketing for NASCAR, said he believes the return of the series in Mexico will bolster the popularity of stock car racing and provide opportunities for aspiring drivers and crew members. We want this to be a base, and if you can make it in NASCAR Mexico, you can make it in the U.S., Garate said.NASCAR Mexico did not run this year as NASCAR reassessed the program after nine seasons. The return was aided by the multiyear agreement with Peak, a division of Old World Industries that has a lengthy association in auto racing.Information from ESPNs Bob Pockrass and The Associated Press was used in this report.
